Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival – Pindul Cave Tubing – Kukup & Baron Beach (L, D)

After pick-up from your hotel or Yogyakarta airport, we head straight to Gunung Kidul, a district known for its natural wonders. Our first stop is Pindul Cave, where you’ll embark on an exciting cave tubing adventure. Floating along the underground river, you’ll pass through dramatic limestone formations and hidden chambers. Expect to get wet, so bring a change of clothes and waterproof gear.

By midday, we pause for lunch at a local restaurant before continuing to Kukup Beach and Baron Beach, two neighboring coastal gems. Kukup offers a charming coral reef ecosystem and fresh seafood stalls, while Baron is framed by green hills and a river estuary. Both beaches are perfect for photography, relaxation, and enjoying the sunset atmosphere.

In the evening, check in at your hotel in Gunung Kidul. Dinner will be served at a local restaurant, where you’ll taste authentic Yogyakarta culinary specialties. Afterward, return to the hotel for rest and overnight stay.

Day 2: Jomblang Cave – Sundak & Indrayanti Beach (B, L)

After breakfast at the hotel, we depart at 08:00 AM for Jomblang Cave, one of Indonesia’s most famous vertical caves. Equipped with safety gear, you’ll descend into the cave and witness the spectacular “Light from Heaven” phenomenon — a beam of sunlight piercing through the cave’s opening, illuminating the underground forest. This rare natural spectacle makes Jomblang a highlight of the trip.

Following the cave exploration, we continue to Sundak Beach and Indrayanti Beach, two of Gunung Kidul’s most popular coastal destinations. Sundak is known for its clear waters and relaxed vibe, while Indrayanti offers a lively atmosphere with beachfront cafés and panoramic sunset views. Spend the afternoon swimming, strolling along the sand, or simply soaking in the tropical scenery.

By evening, we transfer you back to Yogyakarta, marking the end of this unforgettable 2-day adventure.
